Camp Camille July 5th-8th
The 2019 Camp Camille offers the opportunity to meet and train with one of the world’s best ultra-runners in her summer home of Alamosa, Colorado. Positioned at the heart of southern Colorado’s expansive San Luis Valley and ringed by the majestic Sangre de Cristo Range’s 13,000- and 14,000-foot peaks, Alamosa is home to some of Colorado’s most legendary landscapes. In a small personal group, you’ll get to run alongside of and learn from Camille in some of her favorite—and most beautiful—places to train. The goal of the camp is to provide an inspirational, educational, and once-in-a-lifetime running experience.
*The 2019 Camp Camille is reserved for adults 21 years and older.*
The 2019 camp offers guided trail runs over a variety of terrains, distances, and altitudes throughout the weekend. Campers do not need to be competitive runners to attend the camp. However, participants should arrive healthy, rested, be comfortable running for an hour at a time, and to be best prepared for the variety of terrain, temperatures, grades, and altitudes that will be experienced during the weekend. The minimum distance each day is 7 miles with the option to add additional mileage to each run. Keep in mind the altitude ‑ from 7544 ft of mostly flat road/trail terrain in Alamosa and getting up to 11,000 ft in surrounding areas ‑ sometimes tricky terrain will likely add additional challenge to the runs. Transportation to all training runs/activities are included as part of Camp Camille.
